BLOOMINGTON (Ill.) – Bloomington Extreme Linebacker, Justin Harrison, has been named the IFL Vidswap.com Defensive Player of the Week for Week 13.
Harrison, a Bloomington, IL native, led the Extreme defense and helped propel the team to a 40-37 win over divisional rival La Crosse Spartans on Friday, May 21 in La Crosse, WI. Harrison recorded 11 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and had a fumble recovery which he returned 17 yards for a touchdown.
Since re-joining the Extreme in Week 10 of the 2010 IFL Season, the Extreme have won 3 of the 4 games Harrison has played. Over the course of his four games this season, he has recorded 35 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
